I've been using Sorted on iOS for quite some time and was anxiously awaiting for it to come to the Mac Appstore. And my wait is over.
(I was in the Beta plan (as a user only, I'm not very tech savy) and all of the Betas were very stable)
I'm running Big Sur with no issues.
I was pleasantly surprised that the developers decided not to go with the Susbscription route that annoys a lot of people. On top of that, there is an early subsciber discount!!
I highly recommend this app that you can try for free with in app purchases for Pro so you have nothing to lose.
I have absolutely no connection with the developers and highly recommended this.

I have downloaded and tried every calendar/todo app in the App Store. I wanted an app that integrated with my iPad and MacBook computer as well as my calendars and to do lists. This app does EXACTLY what I was looking for. It helps keep me organized and my to do list to a minimum. I highly recommend trying it! In addition, it is NOT a paid subscription. It’s a one-time fee and it is worth it.
Update 12/8: I still love this app. I have noticed a huge increase in my productivity over the past several months. I have also made progress with my daily habits (reading, exercising, etc.) I highly recommend this app!

I've wanted to use Sorted as my primary scheduling tool for well over a year, but couldn't move away because there was no Mac app.
A few weeks ago I got the Mac beta and have been using it ever since. LOVE this app. It works the way I work and helps my scheduling seem less overwhelming. It's flexible, which just means its realistic about how days flow. We get interrupted, emergency emails and phone calls come through, and boom, your schedule has to change. The functionality is only bested by the beautiful app design. Great work!

Ok, I'm not a bot, I'm not an employee, 100% legit customer here haha - I feel like I just assume the uber good reviews I read on most things I just assume are one of those things, so I needed to say that.
I LOVE this app. I basically run my life off it. I use it for work & personal life, and there is SO MUCH flexibility for customization. You can use none/some/all of the extra features, and it works awesomely no matter how you choose to use it. I have gone through many to do list apps over the years, and this is by far the most customizable, integrative with other things, and cleanest. As an extra bonus, the customer support is AMAZING! I was a part of the beta process, and the designer of this app was always quick to get back to me when I ran into issues of any kind (of which are minimal to none now that we’re out of the beta!)
Truly truly love it. The free version is fantastic itself, but I was HAPPY to pay for the pro version. I mean, it’s like the cost of a couple dinners, and you will use this app the rest of your life (I’m convinced). Thanks for listening to me ramble if you made it this far!!

I finally make a go of it. I cheated on Things. I wanted to really stay in a relationship with Things, being that I left OmniFocus for her back 2 years ago. I purchase and have been using Sorted 3 for the past couple of weeks. First thing I noticed is it just makes sense. I find myself using it more for the practicality, versus the physical attraction I had with my prior relationship. Anywho, I like being able to stay on top of task and move them around so easily with the “magic select” feature. Kind of addicting. Makes you want to set up the following day, the night before. Not fluffing your pillows here.
The reason why I chose Sorted to be my new mate, is because I believe in her. Lets get the UI up a notch, and bring us into the new cool digital vibe. Don’t be offended by this, because I know you guys have put some serious hours in, but feels a little like the kitchen needs an update is all. Smooth rounded edges etc. And I beg you to make an active email integration a priority. Something missing in most, and its a bit puzzling. Who knows maybe the email client is the one that crumbles that Jenga tower, but there has to be a smoother add versus copy and paste.
Appreciate you guys, and the early courtship is promising, but keep me interested, please..

I honestly can't say enough good about this app. Once you learn all the features and customize it to your liking, it's everything you could want it to be. The notes for a task are basically just a body, so you can put bolds, italics, strikethroughs, bulletpoints, checkboxes, photos, drawings, etc etc etc. I prefer this to having one single notes and one list of subtasks, bc then i can add multiple lists of subtasks, photos, and it's all integrated together. It's super easy to schedule things, organize lists and folders, and make it work exactly how your individual mind works. Even their customer service team is responsive, friendly, and super helpful.
Truly couldn't ask for much more. I've sent them the features that I want to see (a place to add deadlines that's separate from the scheduling, a way to add stuff to the "Today" planner without changing it's scheduled date, etc), and they said they're keeping those in consideration for future updates. I love knowing the team behind an app actually prioritize productivity and customizability. I'm so glad I can now see all my synced tasks on my computer! A

I’ve been using this app for about 2 weeks now and this is exactly what I have been looking for in a to-do list/ schedule. Since I’ve been working from home I’ve had to balance work and home life all at home and seeing all my personal and work task all in one place helps me get a better sense of my day and helps me organize things better. I have both my work and personal calendars synced so I can see all my task in one place. If you are looking for a way to see all your tasks both work and professional and create a more realistic schedule to reduce your anxiety during these challenging times during the pandemic, then this is the app you are looking for.

If you are here, reading my review, its very possible that you are between the app Things 3 and this one. They are very similar yet very different. Things 3 is very task oriented giving you the option to have project based tasks and everything on the calendar and/or events on your calendar take a backseat. Sorted3 is very centered on the idea of your tasks been on the same level as your appointments. With Sorted3 you'll have a calendar app AND a task/reminders app all in one. Scheduling is a BIG feature and its the strong suit here. Honestly, Things3 has nothing on this, is very very different a little bit hard to get into that.
Pricing is the final straw where Sorted3 wins, so if you don't have unlimited bags of money, this is it. At the end of the day, Sorted3 is the best app if you are looking for a task manager/calendar/reminders app, so, pull the trigger already!

I have tons of experience downloading then deleting then trying to-do apps, list apps, calendar apps, planner apps, AGAIN. I always immediately reject subscription, online, ad-heavy, or sign-in to use apps.
This truly remarkable app does none of those things. And I as soon as I can I will buy it just on the principal of supporting great developers. One thing I would really like is an “in progress” checkbox, perhaps at the other side of the to do. That way if I been interrupted by, say, a phone call, the reminder wouldn’t pop up.

I can honestly say I have spent time and a fair penny searching for the ‘one stop shop’ that works for me. Finally I found it. Thank you team at Sorted, for developing an app that combines action lists and scheduled appointments, all of which can be timed with durations *halleluyah* - and visual display to boot if required - I can now plan without having to resort back to paper and can do it on any device. BONUS - paid for lifetime subscription and not monthly/annually...hope it stays that way for a while !

I have finally gotten the hang of creating routines and habits within the sorted app after some time. I love the flexibility this app has. I would be more inclined to use a list or two (perhaps a folders worth) as my notes to really complete my minimalist phone setup. I’m not quite sure how I would use the notes app everyday- is their a Slack forum for this? Can’t wait for a new update!

I read about this app from a medium article a couple of weeks back. I immediately downloaded and put all of my calendar events and to-dos and learned how to use it all in one day. This app has really increased my productivity, and it’s a one time fee after the free trial ends. My favorite feature is being able to assign to-dos in a day and have them “smart scheduled” based on the duration and arranged around the appointments I have for the day.
I see myself using this app for a really long time. Definitely download this if you’re looking for someway to bring all your daily tasks in one app!!

Tbh this app is even better than Any.do and the other checklists. Here are some reasons why:
First of all, it’s a one time purchase, so it means u get to use it for a lifetime, which is way cheaper than those annual and , monthly payments which are hella expensive
Second of all, it has a really nice theme with really easy-to-use items such as the magic ruler and auto scheduling which INCREASES my productivity by sooo so much! As a person with ADHD, I literally CANNOT live without this app on the weekends...I’d be dozing off and off my schedule
Thirdly, it’s customer support was really helpful and polite. Heck, they even replied in a day!
Therefore, this app is WORTH it!!

Hi, Your App is very good. I need Pomodoro timer integrated in Sorted 3 app in each task. This will help a lot.
So when I start the task to do, I can click on the Pomodoro timer and set the timer for specific time and complete the task ( focused on doing one task at a time) without disturbances, after that that I can tick the task as completed.
Hope you will consider to bring this feature soon.
Thanks

Why isn’t this apple’s standard calendar?
haksig

Two hours into the trial I decided I don’t want to live without it. Aesthetically the app is lovely, but you can tell a lot of love went into the programming. No learning curve necessary, the subtle details allows for uninterrupted workflow, making the app feel intuitive. I enjoy the level of customization and the sounds are pleasant. I have ADHD, and I’ve found this app to be incredibly beneficial. The fact that it’s a one time purchase (at a reasonable price) instead of subscription is also appreciated.
Notes to the programmers & designers:
1) I’d love to be able to drag tasks from my inbox/schedule to the lists in the dark section, hold it over “lists/tags” as the app change the page - and drop it into the list!
2) I often have a lot on my schedule, so the option to highlight or “color group” tasks would be helpful! Sectioning lists like this makes it less overwhelming. Perhaps it could be color blocked by assigned tags (+decide what tags you want color blocked & in what color). 3) I have a list with my goals for 2020-21, in scenarios like this it could be even more motivational to be able to see the tasks completed (in a gray zone, at the bottom).
4) Even more customization would be fantastic! More themes, sounds, icon and the option of color blocking tasks & lists would be fun. I would personally be fine with purchasing “packs” of themes etc. within the app.
It’s a really great app, and I can’t wait to see what you do next and how you’ll improve it! Your hard work truly shows, and the app has been of great value for my everyday life.

Task management does not come naturally to me, but when my life gets super busy, my brain lets me down sometimes. Which is where a digital brain comes in... I have tried and tested virtually every organiser app available, from simple to-do lists to complex project managers. Free trials, subscriptions, I even bought a few outright. But eventually every single one has shown some or other limitation to its functionality.
Sorted is the only one so far that does everything I need...
- simple, attractive UI, quick add widget
- glitch-less syncing on all devices
- seamless two-way calendar integration
- easy categorising with tags, lists, folders
- the ability to make a task as detailed or simple as you need with checklists, files, photos, notes... or nothing at all
- converting items within a task into a task itself
- best of all, auto-schedule takes time management to a new level, while still giving you complete flexibility
Totally worth buying!

I could go on and on about how I’ve been trying to find an app like this for, years really, but I think I will be brief. Interface is smooth and works well. Features I love and have had a hard time finding all together on other apps: - not a subscription
- tasks have subtasks that you can “check”
- can set a duration for tasks
- can see tasks on “timeline” (your calendar day) at their set time and with a width representative of their duration alongside calendar “events”. (A feature that has been hard for me to find)
It might not be for everyone, but it works great for me. I’m glad I finally came across this app.
A note: I don’t think the pictures on the App Store really do this app justice. The gif demo loops on their website give a much better idea of the look and experience of the app. If your thinking about it, maybe look up their website. I hope the review was helpful.

I’ve tried all the major To Do apps...
Microsoft ToDo (used to be Wunderlist)
Moleskine Actions
Todoist
Trello
2Do (this was my number 1 for many, many years)
and many, many more.
Sorted3 is the only one that actually fits around my life instead of me fitting in with it.
All I wanted was an app where I could juggle my tasks around my calendar. The team at Sorted are the only ones to have found an elegant and eye-pleasing solution.
Often, todo apps miss out the more complex repeats like “the third Tuesday of the month” but Sorted3 has that too.
I also love that I can give Siri a task in Reminders and Sorted3 will then import that task WHILST DELETING IT in Reminders.
This is an elegant solution that blends voice control and list management.
Auto-scheduling felt like a gimmick at first but actually, it’s a real time-saver.
With a decent trial time of 14 days instead of the usual 7 (in reality, power user's spend 3-4 days just setting up the app) you get plenty of time to learn just how well this app can help stay sorted.
Well done to everyone at Sorted 😁😁😁

I tried a lot of note/scheduling/bullet journal apps and this is the one that clicked for me. I’m not great at scheduling things but this is great to help me prioritize and make a more realistic plan for my day. With ADD I have a tendency to have NO idea what is a realistic amount of things to get done in a day so this helps a lot with that. There are a few tricks that make it work for what I need, and I’m still learning. I wish there was a better way to differentiate between tasks and regular notes but otherwise it’s great. Also it’s not a subscription, which is great, so when my trial is up I will definitely be buying!

I mean this is such an obvious idea, really, you wonder why every other task management app hasn’t done it. But they haven’t, so here we are! My new favourite application. 🧡
The concept is simple. You have things to do. They can only get done if you, you know, do them at some point in time. That point in time isn’t going to just magically happen. You have to decide when it is.
So, schedule your tasks. All of them. This is transformative. I’m a few days in and already it’s changed how I plan my entire day.
This is going to make me 20% better at my job. Amazing stuff. Thanks very much.
