Wall of Love

Sunrise used to be my favourite app. Ever since its disappearance, I have been trying tons of apps. They are too complicated like moleskin’s, too few functions like todoist, or too ugly. This is just right!

I have always been the type of person who seemed so best flying by the seat of my pants, handling things as they came to me. Or so I thought. After reading a little bit about the linkage between scheduling and productivity I decided to give Sorted a shot. So far, I’ve noticed a greater sense of control over my days, and a greater sense of awareness over what I am and am not accomplishing. As for the app itself: Intuitive and simple to use, nice thoughtful design that gets out of the way, and carefully deliberated features that truly make scheduling a breeze. A+ my search for a task manager is over.

It seems like I’ve tried 100s of task and todo apps. None of them have actually helped me reminder things and keep me working on what I should be focused on. Most had things organized into tags or areas or labels. Even then, I had other stuff on a calendar. Sorted makes it so easy. I’ve waited to leave a review until I could honestly say this is the app I’ve been searching for all these years. Seriously. How long has it been? Ten years since I started my search for the app that fit my productivity needs the best. I can finally say... I’ve found it. No more opening the AppStore scrolling through the top download list hoping for a new app to hit the streets. Or back in the day or searching for “task” and the results showed the most recent apps added. Nope. No more wasted time searching. I’ve landed on the winner. Huge thank you to the Sorted team. Y’all are awesome and I can not wait for the Mac OS app to launch!

I’ve been using Sorted3 daily for the past four months; the more I use it, the more functional I find it. I am growing into its features over time, which is the opposite of my usual experience with task managers. The past few weeks I have begun using the auto-schedule feature, which helps me be REALISTIC about what I can actually accomplish in a day and forces me to prioritize. I am getting so much benefit from it that I just voluntarily bought the developers a pizza. 😊 The main additional feature I’d like to see is the ability to assign a group of tasks to a time period without having to schedule each individual task for a specific time. (The time-blocking functionality I have been looking for in vain for several years.) Like if I could call a time slot “Project X” and all tasks tagged Project X would fall in that time slot in no particular order (or manually sorted order). (This is not the same as the already-existing feature of being able to create a task with subtasks that are handled differently from regular tasks.) But even without that, I have found Sorted3 to be the most actually useful task manager I’ve tried.

I've used a dozen or more todos. This is the best. I like the merger of todos and calendar and it treats the calendar like a to-do, in that it can be removed from the list when it's time is past. It can auto schedule todos. I use it with my bullet journal and it works great with it. We could use a Mac version. /

I have tried nearly all of the GTD apps in the store and this wins hands down for my needs.

The best! Very easy to use and get organized. Schedule system with notes and tasks. It’s great! Also you can use it as a bullet journal adding projects/Collections in the List section, and every day make a review of your projects selecting the tasks you are going to work that day. It's a perfect tool and you have the advantage of subtasks!

Still early version so I'm waiting for more stable releases but I love the concept!

After searching for a simple but powerful to-do list, I finally came across Sorted. The app has the potential to do everything I need- it can act as a simple to-do list, but it can also schedule all of my tasks so that my days are specifically targeted for success. Something, however, that disappointed me was that I purchased the full version however I am unable to use all of the features of the app. The Reorganize function (which allows you to split tasks into smaller tasks) is grayed out for every single task that I see, preventing me from being able to use it.

Having been a senior business person for multiple Wall Street firms as well as a CEO for two successful start-ups, I have tried many org apps, starting with ACT way back when. I tried Sorted just for fun as I heard good things about it. I truly believe this shall be my last productivity/scheduler/to-do app, particularly if the dev team keeps up it’s current piece. I am grateful for this product , and as such wish to add my 0.02 for full approval from a forty year experienced management high approval. Try it and I’m sure you shall love it.

However, once you realise that you ( only ) have 1440 minutes per day — they are gone forever, and you cannot get them back — you have reached the next level. Focus on your Big Rocks / MITs ( Most Important Tasks ) first thing in the peak period. Schedule the rest of your tasks throughout the day accordingly, and you are good to go. Time Blocking par excellence!

Out of all the apps for organizing your day, Sorted provides the best flexibility, utility, and aesthetics.

There is simple nothing else I can say about this app. As a supervisor/manager, it incorporates all of the features I love and appreciate for daily organizing work (and personal) activity. Good job!

We need time to do what needs to be done. Sorted understands this. And the app is designed delightfully.

Well done app, best app for organizing tasks and projects. It helps me a lot. Thank you for this. (Of course I bought it). I have some suggestions to improve this app: 1. To put notifications stay even after you open the phone one time - (so the notifications will not move to the Notification Center) 2. It will be nice if the notifications will be the first that you see. For example, many times I get a lot of WhatsApp messages and I can’t notice that I got a notification form the Sorted app. 3. To give us the ability to choose default list. It will save me so much time (I use this app a lot). Thank you for this app. I really enjoy using it.

Fot me, this app is the best todo app on the store. When it will be web version of this app? I’ll buy the premium subscription if web version will be.

This is the best task manager app I’ve ever seen. Alas, I cannot switch from Things 3 until they release a Mac app 🙁 really looking forward to that day

I love this scheduling app. It’s the best of all that I’ve tried even the Things 3 contender which has a horrible UX. But please, for the love of all that is holy and dark, PLEASE add a BLACK mode. Dark mode is not enough.

Sorted is, for me, the best todo list ever. I've tried probably a dozen todo/notes/productivity apps over the years. The best feature, the secret ingredient, of Sorted is that it will make a schedule for you. It will pull your calendar for the day and auto-schedule all the todo for that day into the holes in the schedule. Todo lists often feel like they just ADD work to your day. Sorted says, “hey, you are busy and stressed. It will be OK. Just do this after you ten o'clock and that after lunch and the these two small things at five and five fifteen. “ It works fantastically well. I find it so much easier to get things done if they are scheduled. I'm less stressed, more proactive and happier. It is an incredibly well polished app with all the normal features, a cheery interface, and many very useful gestures that mean the most of the time I spend with Sorted is spent just checking things off my list. Thanks Sorted team! I've been looking for a great todo app for literally 20 years, and I'm happy to report that after 3 months of use I believe I have found it.

Best scheduler app out there

So you've got a list of things to do today, maybe an appointment or two. Doesn't it make sense to plan when you're gonna do what? It blows my mind that this is the only app in the app store that can do this, because it seems like such an obvious way to plan your time. Research shows (I read this in one of Dan Ariely's (or someone like him) books) that if you want to improve the odds of getting something done you have to set a time to do it. I went through 15 fricking to do apps on the app store looking for this kind of functionality. Instead I came across apps like the mind-bogglingly bad ToDoist which, besides lacking this planning functionality, requires 4 taps and a scroll to delete a task. Everything about this app is sooooo well thought out (trust me, like I said I demoed everything). It is an incredibly elegant design. That magic select thingy where you can shift all the tasks at once should win a design award. Since I see the developers often respond here I'll say a few things: Bug: it appears "completing" gcal imported appts don't sync between iphone and iPad. I have to check or swipe it on both devices Recommendations: Marketing:. Change the name- it doesnt reflect what the app is and superscript is a marketing no-no. Make YouTube videos describing features- those gifs on your webpage are too fast, lack commentary, and are just bad. Functionality:. -Make the timeline prettier. Maybe colored boxes based on tags. The whole thing looks tacked on. I'd like to bring the empty space functionality into the main day page as an option, with another option to set the day hours, say 8am to 5pm etc. so there wouldn't be too much empty space. -It'd be nice to have option to unnest individual lists and have them on same page as the inbox. You don’t need to buy different apps now. Just get this, it’s amazing! Also, would you add a Pomodoro timer, kinda like focus mode for each task? Would be SICK!

Loving this app! It would be even better if there is a Macbook version so that my lists are synced across devices.

Love the concept of this app. It’s a great tool to help me get things done and to hold myself accountable for tasks. Rather then due dates with task now it’s on my calendar and scheduled where I can check it off. Keep up the good work!

Sorted3 is an excellent app: it is intuitive and using a timeline is a fantastic way to manage your day. For personal use, it is superior to the other products we tested. I especially enjoy checking off calendar appointments in addition to tasks. Brilliant! Unfortunately, we were looking for an app for a 20 person-firm. It is not appropriate for us because you can't delegate work, it isn’t accessible through a browser, and it cannot create tasks from email. If you don’t want to share tasks with anyone, then Sorted3 is the best app for managing your time. If you need to work with anyone or need to create a lot of tasks from email, you will want to consider another app. Considering the thoughtful approach and excellent design, it is likely the app will grow into a considerable contender. Hopefully, we meet again for Sorted4 or 5.

I’ve almost tried them all (any.do, Wunderlist, Todoist, things 3, Nirvana, Agenda, habitica, etc.). This is the most well thought application of its kind, mixing tasks and calendar. I don’t use anything else now to deal with all my events and tasks. Everything is very intuitive, and well designed. One thing I could be interested to see is some kind of karma feature like what Todoist has. This may be useless for a lot of people, but I know some of us are into the game aspect as well. Having the possibility to activate a similar feature for this app would make it the ultimate app for me (if it isn’t already ;) ) Developers, if I can help in any way, let me know!

Better than I initially thought. There’s a merit in the workflow that is offered in the app. The missing pieces like Geo fencing and event invitees but I’m sure that with the right support of users developers will eventually get there as well

This is the 1st app that easily configures with the native iOS calendar app. Because of this app I’m now able to easily send events to my wife on her calendar. She likes using the native iOS calendar but I really dislike it but I needed something to bridge my likes & my wife’s preferences and this app perfectly fits that ticket & checks all of my boxes.

Possible to allow a big view of calendar?

This is the task management app I’ve been looking for. I love everything about it: dark theme, clean and colorful UI, easy navigation, auto-schedule feature, calendar integration, and so much more. Thank you, Sorted3. You nailed it!

OMG! Just can’t say enough about this app! I was debating between this one and Things 3, and well guess what? There is no comparison. I am not saying Things 3 is not good, but having to pay for every separate platform! Umm, how about no! This app has everything Things 3 has and more. I have ADHD and I have to keep myself in check all the time cause I am a grad student who works full time and have two kids. I love this app and it’s so user friendly. Looking forward to more features and improvements (it has been crashing a lot lately).

This is my favorite task app. The $15 is a bit much, but it's still worth it

Best app for getting everything done and organised in time! It even helps me to organise time itself and to prioritise! An essential tool for me to overcome some of my cognitive and executional challenges due to ADHD!
